Toddler-wear for the mountains

I have spend a lot of time agonizing about what clothes to put my baby, now toddler, in. This is what we have settle on. The picture below shows what we would bring on a day trip in the summer. In addition we would bring at least an extra set of fleece and merino wool in case of an accident.

1. Mosquito shirt
2. Fast drying, mostly mosquito proof pants.
3. Merino wool top and bottom
4. Fleece top and bottom
5. Rain proof layer
6. Sunhat and glasses
7. Mitten

Not on the picture:
8. underwear
9. socks

On a colder day or on any overnight trip we also bring a snow suit. We still can't get F to sleep in a sleeping bag, so we just dress her in her snowsuit for sleeping.

We always bring two sets of footwear. In colder(snow) weather we would bring winter boots and booties. In wetter weather we would bring winter boots and rain boots. In warmer weather we would bring shoes and winter/rain boots.

Got the mosquito shirt from MEC: http://www.mec.ca/product/5016-843/original-bug-shirt-polyester-insect-proof-shirt-infants-to-youths-kids/?q=mosquito
It is still pretty big on her, but works pretty good. She is often not to keen on putting it on, but usually gets use to it pretty fast.
The pants are also from MEC, but they are not officially mosquito proof. Picked them because they looked tightly woven and was lose on her body. The fit is a bit weird.

Winter boots are best for kids in winter as they help them to protect itself from hard weather.You can also use leather boots for the same purpose.

Curious to know more on the sunglasses you got for F. We got Baby Banz and find they stay on but they are hard frame and leave marks.

We have a collection of sunglasses - mostly from MEC. There is not one pair that I absolutely love, but I think our favourites are the spider sunglasses (https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5028-045/Spider-Sunglasses) or the for younger kids the Riley sunglasses (https://www.mec.ca/en/product/5041-392/Riley-Sunglasses).
For the longest time we could not get F to wear sunglasses at all, but she would be somewhat okay with goggles or a UV visor (like this: http://www.okokchina.com/Files/uppic47/Sun%20shade260.jpg)
